I noticed this man watching me for a moment, as I was walking to my therapy office one morning this summer. He then offered, barely loud enough to hear across the street, “Would you like a balloon?” I promptly replied, “Yes!” He turned and walked into his building and came out with these. There are these moments where we are being offered something. We don’t know they are coming. Will my heart be willing to receive? Will I take the moment and be present to the gift and the gift-giver? Will I let this moment change me, if even a little? Will I allow my heart to soften, shoulders relax, and really feel something? ♥
