i just really, really love this …
it’s surely at the heart of my path these days …
“learning to love all of me. even my monstery parts.”
i keep returning to this image …
as it is drawn, written + illuminated here, being with my monstery parts becomes a softer, lighter + clearer practice …
with gratitude,
Meghan

A brilliant monster! Thanks for your lovely comment about my painting π I’d paint your arm like that but the stamps might hurt a bit! π

Cute ..cute…cute! I’m still working on loving the the monstery part of me.. This is a good reminder for me to love the entire me because it’s a part of who I am. I love how you get us to think that way with your art. Thanks Rachel.

oh yes. especially the monstery parts!!!!
I am getting better at loving my monstery parts, I am not as good at loving the monstery voices in my head. I know that their mission is to keep me safe, but sometimes I wish they would stop – because they always seem to go about it in ways that I do not appreciate.
Happy Halloween! π
You have such a way of getting to the heart of the matter, my friend. Loving our monstery parts may be one of the hardest things of all.
Just saw this now, today on Halloween! How appropriate and insightful, Rachel. The yellow, orange and white candy corn colors–Beautiful.
So cute…and true! I had to post this today in celebration of loving all of ourselves, even the parts that are a work in progress.
just stopping by for some good lovin’ ideas .. i’ve got monstery parts for sure … big hug monstery parts .. big kiss!
I love this, I definitely have some monstery parts … perhaps its the love that tames them π
